María Landa Buil
María Landa Buil studied Hispanic Philology at Universidad de Zaragoza. Later, se obtained the CAP (curso de actitud pedagógica) at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. María continued her studies at Instituto Universitario Ortega y Gasset (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) where she obtained a PhD in Theoretical Linguistics and its aplications in 2008.
María has been teaching languages for several years and in different cultural contexts. She was reader (AECID) at the University of the West Indies, in Barbados and at the State University of Zanzibar, Tanzania. Later she was coordinator of Spanish at the Centre for Language Learning at the University of the West Indies., Saint Augustine Campus, Trinidad y Tobago.
María Landa Buil is co-founder of ELE USAL Barcelona and directed the school until 2018. She collaborates with ELE USAL Barcelona as DELE examiner and consultant.
